Join a one-day ride that will start and end on the West Side of Manhattan for a 30-mile route completely traffic free. It is a one of kind experience that allows you to see Manhattan in a way you never have before. You will be traffic free around the outer edge of Manhattan on the East & West side highways including a traffic free ride through Battery Park Tunnel at the southern tip of Manhattan and experiences views of the George Washington Bridge, Brooklyn Bridge and other New York City landmarks you can only see on this route.

It’s a brand new, top-of-the-line cycling experience that everyone can be a part of no matter where you are or how you ride. Thanks to exciting partnerships with Strava and Zwift, you can ride inside or out and choose the mileage that’s right for you.

The Options

• Ride Inside using Zwift

  • Combining the fun of video games with some serious training features, Zwift is an indoor cycling app that allows you to ride from anywhere. Ride on your trainer or your spin bike to help create a world free of MS. Get help using Zwift.

• Ride Outside using Strava

  • If you’re a road warrior, download the Strava app and go hit the pavement. Using GPS and social media-like features, Strava helps you track your ride and connect to the cycling community. Get help using Strava. 

• Do your own thing

  • Don’t want to use cycling apps? No problem! Ride the way you want – using your Peloton, outside on the road or from a spin bike in your gym. You’re in charge of building your own Bike MS adventure!

What to Expect

• Before the Ride - We’ll be hosting fun virtual events leading up to the action, including a Virtual Packet Pickup Thursday, Oct. 15 when you can ask questions and get last-minute tips and details. Local staff will also host Team Captain meetings, Top Fundraiser Rallies and Rookie Rider gatherings.

• Ride Day – these are just a few of the fun things we’ve got planned!

  • A live opening ceremony to kick off the ride in Bike MS style, with special guests and an opportunity to connect with your cycling friends in your local area and across the country.

  • Gamified fundraising, leaderboard acknowledgements and unique challenges throughout the day.

  • Different route options with scheduled breaks on both Strava and Zwift where cyclists can reconnect online or in person.

  • Live events broadcasted throughout the day to connect and celebrate with fellow riders and volunteers. 

  • Virtual Jersey competition with some help from our friends at Primal. 

  • A live closing ceremony you won’t want to miss.
